Product Description: Center Strength is an accomplished piece that recalls the work of Dutch American abstract painter Willem de Kooning who played a significant role in the development of Abstract Expressionism, a movement that emerged in the mid-20th century in the United States. This work is characterized by its strong, defined lines that offer a tension between abstraction and figuration.

In keeping with de Kooning’s work, Center Strength features the fragmented form of the human figure. The work is rendered in a simple color scheme in dove grey, vanilla, and onyx with a pop of mustard yellow.
